After Samantha Ruth Prabhu's 'Oo Antava' number in Pushpa, Janhvi Kapoor is rumoured to be roped in for a special dance number in Pushpa 2. 'Oo Antava' amassed over a billion views on YouTube. The actor is set to star opposite Ram Charan in Ram Charan's upcoming film, to be directed by Uppena fame Buchi Babu Sana.
Headlined by Allu Arjun, Pushpa 2 also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Fasil and Prakash Raj. The film is being bankrolled by Mythri MovieMakers. Kapoor is set to make her Telegu debut with Devara, which also stars NTR Jr. The movie, being directed by Koratala Siva, will also star Prakash Raj, Shine Tom Chacko and Saif Ali Khan. The movie is set to release in October 2024.
Pushpa 2 is expected to be released in August 2024. Shooting for the song is expected to begin soon. Kapoor, who recently celebrated her 27th birthday, was last seen Bawaal alongside Varun Dhawan. At the Ambani pre-wedding celebrations, she was spotted with rumoured boyfriend, Shikhar Paharia.
