Makers of the much-awaited Mollywood movie, Aadujeevitham (The Goat Life), with Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead, announced that the movie will be released in theatres on March 28 instead of April 10. Aadujeevitham release date coincides with the Easter weekend.

The movie will be released in Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada.

"After a decade-long endeavour, the makers of the Prithviraj Sukumaran-starrer, The Goat Life, decided to cut the wait short for its viewers and release the film sooner than expected," the makers said, announcing the decision to release the movie early.

The film, based on the novel ‘Aadujeevitham’ penned by popular Malayalam writer Benyamin, follows the true story of a young man, Najeeb, who in the early 1990s migrates from Kerala in search of fortunes in Saudi Arabia.

Directed by Blessy, the film also stars Hollywood actor Jimmy Jean-Louis, Arab actors Talib al Balushi and RikAby, Amala Paul, K.R. Gokul in major roles.

The director had earlier said the movie has a "subject with universal appeal." “The novel is based on some real incidents and I want to captivate the viewers with each moment that something as unbelievable happened to someone. Truth has never been so much stranger than fiction. The scale of the movie demands to be felt within the confines of a theatre and we are excited to bring this magnum opus to audiences around the world,” he had said.
