Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone and husband Ranveer Singh are pregnant with their first child.
A little birdie tells us that the actor is in her second trimester.
Earlier in the day, there were speculations that Deepika Padukone may be pregnant as she was reportedly seen hiding her midriff while clad in a glittering saree at the 77th British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) red carpet. Deepika Padukone had donned a couture saree and custom jewellery by Sabyasachi Mukherjee.
Padukone presented an award at BAFTA to filmmaker Jonathan Glazer for the film not in English language category at the ceremony on Sunday.
Padukone and Singh have been married for more than five years after dating for a few years. They got married at a private event in Italy in November 2018.
Recently, when Padukone was asked about her plans to become a mother, she had said, "Absolutely. Ranveer and I love children. We look forward to the day when we will start our own family."
The actor was last seen in the Hrithik Roshan-starrer action movie Fighter. Her upcoming projects include Kalki 2898 AD and Singham Again.
