Force of Nature: This is the adaptation of the book of the same name by Jane Harper. Agent Falk (Eric Bana) is called to investigate-- five women go hiking, and only four return.
It Ends With Us: This Colleen Hoover book is being adapted into a film by Justin Baldoni. The film also stars Blake Lively, who plays Lily Bloom. Lily and Ryle (Baldoni) fall in love, but, Lily's ex-boyfriend re-enters her life.
Frankenstein: This adaptation of the book by Mary Shelley is being directed by Zelda Williams. The movie's adaptation features Lisa Frankenstein, a teenager, who attempts to animate a corpse, which she tries to rebuild into her dream lover (played by Cole Sprouse).
Spaceman of Bohemia: The adaptation of this book by Jaroslav Kalfař is being directed by Johan Renck. The story is that of a boy raised by his grandparents. He goes on to become the first astronaut in the Czech Republic. He heads on a mission to Venus, where he meets a sentient spider and communicates with it.
Dune Part 2: Dune 2, will delve deeper into the book by Frank Herbert. The movie will star Timothee Chalamet. Paul Atreides played by Chalamet becomes close with the local inhabitants of Arrakis.
The 3-Body Problem: This popular science fiction book by Liu Cixen is being adapted into a movie by Netflix. As alien visitors ready for arrival on earth, humans divide with varying feelings about the event, divide into three camps.
Mickey 7: This is the story of a man employed to test if a frozen planet can be made hospitable. Mickey Barnes is ascertained to death. He, however, gets cloned several times with his previous memories, making him immortal, almost.
The Watchers: This book is being adapted by Ishana Shyamalan, daughter of director M. Night Shyamalan. The film starring Dakota Fanning is the story of a group of people hiding out in a bunker as extra-terrestrial creatures come to hunt those who could not hide on time.
Cold Storage: This movie, the adaptation of the book of the same name by David Koepp, stars Liam Neeson and Joe Keery. Neeson a Pentagon bioterror expert must find a way to contain a fungus that can mutate and destroy the world.
Landing on My Feet: This novel is being adapted into a film titled 'Perfect'. Starring McKenna Grace and Thomasin McKenzie, it is based on the Magnificent Seven, a gymnastics Olympic group from the US, that competed and won in 1996. it is being directed by Olivia Wild.
The Legacy of Mark Rothko: This one is a biographical tale of l renowned American painter Mark Rothko, with Russel Crowe playing Rothko. The movie also features Aisling Franciosi, who plays his daughter Kate, who enters a legal battle to honour his legacy.
The Amateur: This follows the tale of Charlie Heller, who works at the CIA as a cryptographer. Rami Malek will essay the role of Heller, who convinces the agency to train him and go on active duty to track down the terrorists who killed his fiancee.
Wicked: Gregory Maguire weaves the tale of a green-skinned girl, who isn't wicked as she is perceived to be. Elphaba's story, which had inspired many musicals will be made into a two-part film.
The Lord of The Rings: The Two Towers: This book is being adapted into an animation film titled, 'The Lord of the Rings: The War of Rohirrim' Set 183 years before the events of the LOTR trilogy, it introduces us to the people of Rohan and the battle between the people of Rohan and the Dunlendings.
Turtles All The Way Down: This coming-of-age young adult novel by John Green will star Isabella Merced. The movie follows the story of a girl with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and anxiety.
The Electric State: In the adaptation of this book, Millie Bobby Brown stars as an orphaned girl, who travels through a wasteland with her robot companion. It is being directed by Joe and Anthony Russo and stars Chris Pratt, Ke Huy Quan, and Stanley Tucci.
Uglies: This film, explores a dystopian world, where everyone, when they turn 16, undergoes surgery to become attractive. But, beauty comes with a price. The movie will feature Joey King.
