After a compelling teaser, the trailer of the movie Fighter is finally out! Directed by Sidharth Anand, this movie also stars Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover and Akshay Oberoi. The trailer starts out looking stylish, with Hrithik seeming like an overly confident, flirty aviator; Deepika, a competent aviator, and Anil Kapoor, a formidable commanding officer.
The trailer sure packs promise of action, suave and love for the motherland. Director Sidharth Anand, at the trailer launch said it wasn't an easy film to make. “We have given it our all. It is not an easy film. I've made a decent amount of action films but this has been another journey altogether,” he said.
While comparisons to Top Gun cannot be avoided, we sure hope the movie holds as much substance as it does suave. Hrithik Roshan, who recently turned 50, was seen in Vikram Vedha alongside Saif Ali Khan. Deepika Padukone was last seen in Jawan, alongside Shah Rukh Khan.
Makers of Fighter have also released three songs-- Ishq Jaisa Kuch, Heer Aasmani and Sher Khul Gaye. The movie shows the Indian Air Force launching an attack post the Pulwama attack by Pakistan. Will the movie enthral viewers as much as the trailer has? We'll have to wait and watch.
