Agastya Nanda, who is set to make his Bollywood debut with The Archies, helmed by Zoya Akhtar, turns 23 today. Here's how his co-stars and family wished him on his special day. Abhishek Bachchan shared a throwback picture on his Instagram handle and wrote, “Happy birthday Archie Andrews! Stay cool.”
His mother, Shweta Nanda wrote, “Happy 23-23-23 son ~ may your brave heart take you on the best adventures, may those adventures serve you well & May you never forget how loved and valued you are.” His sister Navya Nanda, a social activist wrote, “Happy birthday to my morning alarm, part-time therapist, full-time irritant & the newest hero in town. May every year, but especially this one, be yours, Junior!”
The Archies marks the debut of star kids Khushi Kapoor, daughter of Boney Kapoor and Suhana Khan, Shah Rukh Khan's daughter. Others starring in the movie include Vedang Raina, Mihir Ahuja, Aditi "Dot" Saigal and Yuvraj Menda. The movie is set in 1964 and revolves around the teenagers at Riverdale High, situated at a hill station.
The musical is set to release on Netflix on December 7. Rumoured girlfriend Suhana Khan too, extended birthday wishes for Agastya. She posted a picture of the two from his birthday bash last night, with the caption, 'Birthday Boy'. Co-star Mihir Ahuja and director Zoya Akhtar wished him as well.
