Actress Ankita Lokhande shared about the death of actor Sushant Singh and revealed that she still struggles to speak about him in the 'past tense'.

Speaking to comedian Munawar Faruqui inside the Bigg Boss house, Ankita revealed that she could not get herself to attend Sushant's funeral. Sushant was found dead in his Bandra apartment in June 2020. Ankita and Sushant, paired opposite each other in hit television show Pavitra Rishta, dated for seven years before parting ways.

In a video clip from the latest episode, Ankita is seen humming the track 'Kaun Mujhe' from M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, in which Sushant essayed the title role. Munawar said that he had attended the special screening of this film and met Sushant too.

Responding to this, Ankita said he was a good man. She added that she found it difficult to speak about him in the past tense, but she is in a better space. Ankita also said that Sushant was a friend of her husband Vicky Jain as well. When I realised that he is no more, that was the “worst” feeling, she said.

To Munawar's question of what actually 'went wrong', she said she could not go. “I thought I wouldn't be able to see that. Vicky asked me to go, but I couldn't muster up that courage.”

Both Ankita and Vicky are currently part of Bigg Boss season 17.
