Actress Jennifer Aniston is struggling to cope with the untimely passing of her FRIENDS co-star Matthew Perry. According to Page Six sources, of the remaining five members of the cast, Aniston and Courtney Cox are reeling the most, and “Jen is probably the one who is struggling the most acutely.”

Perry was found dead in the hot tub of his home on October 28. Though Aniston has not responded, the FRIENDS cast released a joint statement after Perry's passing. "We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just cast mates. We are a family," their statement read. The remaining five cast members—Aniston, Cox, Lisa Kudrov, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer—attended Perry's funeral ceremony in Los Angeles later.

For Aniston, this is the second massive loss in less than a year, according to the report. The actress still has not regained her footing after the death of her father last year, and Perry's death has completely knocked her off her feet, the source said.

Perry, who famously played Chandler Bing in the popular sitcom, had been open about his troubles and addiction and thanked Aniston for checking in on him, as per Page Six. In a 2002 interview, Perry said he was grateful to Aniston for reaching out to him. Reportedly, she was the first person to confront him on the sets of FRIENDS, when his struggle with addiction became obvious.

According to other reports from US media, Aniston dreaded his death for “20 years” and truly believed his worst days were behind him. Speaking to the Daily Star, one of Aniston's friends said: “Nobody shed more tears for Matthew during the darkest points of his struggles with addiction than Jennifer.”
