Malayalam period actioner RDX: Robert Dony Xavier which received glowing reviews from fans and critics after its theatrical release is now set to arrive on streaming platform Netflix.
RDX will start streaming on Netflix on Sunday.
Helmed by debutant Nahas Hidayath, the film revolves around three youngsters essayed by Neeraj Madhav, Shane Nigam and Anthony Varghese.
The film which depends heavily on its stunt sequences explores the lives of the three youngsters who frequently get into fights, and how their past comes to haunt them later. Veteran actor Babu Antony also appears in a pivotal role in the film. The stunt sequences were choreographed by Anbariv, action choreographers who were behind recent mass entertainers like KGF.
The film, which locked horns in theatres with Dulquer Salmaan's action flick King of Kotha and Nivin Pauly's heist comedy Ramachandra Boss & Co had a great run at the box office. According to Times of India, RDX raked in over Rs 50 crore from Kerala alone. With this, RDX joined the league of Malayalam blockbusters like Pulimurugan, Lucifer and 2018.
Bankrolled by Sophia Paul, the film also features Lal, Mahima Nambiar and Aima Rosmy Sebastian among others.
