It is the last week of July and streaming platforms are all set with a long lineup of releases. Even as the 'Barbenheimer' frenzy still remains high in theatres, here is a quick look at all that's arriving on Netflix, Disney plus Hotstar, Amazon Prime Video, JioCinema and other platforms this week.

The crime series headlined by Vijay Varma as police sub inspector Ravi Shankar Tiwari, revolves around the probe into an acid-attack case. Directed by Sumit Saxena, the show is also described as a commentary on the dark realities of systemic oppression. The series also features Shwetha Tripathi, Yashpal Sharma and Seema Biswas.

Paradise: Netflix

Release date: July 27

The German sci-fi thriller is set in a world where humans can transfer years of their lifespan to others. The film revolves around a man's desperate attempts after his wife is forced to give up 40 years of her life as payment for an insurance debt.

The Witcher season 3 volume 2: Netflix

Release date: July 27

The second part of the season, featuring three episodes, will be Henry Cavill's final stint as Geralt of Rivia. Geralt reunites with his family in volume one, and joins hands with Ciri and Yennefer to fight the monsters working against them in the Continent. The three upcoming episodes are seen as the 'culmination' of all that the show has been building over the past two seasons, and will see the trio fight the hardest for each other and themselves.

Good Omens season 2: Amazon Prime Video

Release date: July 28

The second season of the popular show, adapted from Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett's novel, will feature six episodes. The season delves deeper into the friendship between Aziraphale (Michael Sheen) and Crowley (David Tennant), and what follows when archangel Gabriel (Jon Hamm) appears at Aziraphale's doorstep one day.

Maamannan: Netflix

Release date: July 27

The Tamil political thriller directed by Maari Selvaraj was released in theatres in June and received positive reviews. The film features Vadivelu, Udhayanidhi Stalin, Fahadh Faasil and Keerthy Suresh in pivotal roles. It was Vadivelu who hogged the limelight after the film's release as the actor, known for his comedic roles, stepped in to a wholly different terrain. The film also features music by composer AR Rahman.
