Our Planet II: Netflix

After a fantastic part one, Netflix is back with the second edition of the nature docu-series narrated by Sir David Attenborough. The four-part series will explore the mystery of how and why animals migrate. The series will explore the different types of migrating animals to reveal some of the “most dramatic and compelling stories in the natural world,” reads the synopsis. The much-loved first part explored the impact of human actions and climate change on ecosystems in different parts of the world.
Kandahar: Amazon Prime Video
Release date: June 16
The action thriller starring Gerard Butler and Ali Fazal, which released in US theatres in May, will now be available to OTT viewers. Written by Mitchell LaFortune, Kandahar draws inspiration from true events from the life of a former military intelligence officer. The film directed by Ric Roman Waugh revolves around an undercover CIA agent who gets stuck in hostile territory after his mission is exposed.
Extraction 2: Netflix
Release date: June 16
Australian black-ops mercenary Tyler Rake is back on yet another dangerous mission in the sequel to 2020's Extraction, which also featured Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda. Starring Chris Hemsworth, the action thriller is written by Sam Hargrave and written by Joe Russo. Extraction 2 also stars Daniel Bernhardt and Tinatin Dalakishvili.
Shaitan: Disney plus Hotstar
Release date: June 15
The Telugu original series is a gritty crime drama created by Mahi V Raghav. The series features Sai Kamakshi Bhaskarla, Deviyani Sharma, Jaffer Sadiq, Aneesha Dama, Nithin Prasanna, Lenaa Kumar, and others in crucial roles. According to reports, the series is said to be along the lines of critically acclaimed shows like Mirzapur and Paatal Lok which explore the dark underbelly of society.
Black Mirror season 6: Netflix
Release date: June 15
The much-talked-about anthology series that explores human-technology connection in a dystopian setting returns for a fresh season five years after its fifth installment. With five episodes, the new season features Salma Hayek, Aaron Paul, Annie Murphy, Kate Mara Rory Culkin and Zazie Beetz among others.
Pichaikkaran 2: Disney plus Hotstar
Release date: June 16
Vijay Antony's social drama features the actor in a dual role—as a business tycoon and a beggar. Directed by Antony himself, the film also features Yogi Babu,Dev Gill, John Vijay, Hareesh Peradi, Radha Ravi. The film received mixed reviews when it was released in theatres in May.
