Popular south Indian actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu appears to be in awe of Mollywood actors as she observed that working with them is like going to an acting school.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu will be seen next in the Telugu Shaakuntalam, in which she is paired opposite Mollywood actor Dev Mohan of Sufiyum Sujatayum fame.

During a media interaction in Kochi for the promotion of Shaakuntalam, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who has worked with Mollywood actors Fahadh Faasil and Unni Mukundan, apart from Mohan, was asked about working with actors from Malayalam movie industry.

“When I work with a Malayalam actor, it is like going to an acting school. Because when we act, we tend to have a comfort level the way we take our pauses," she was quoted as saying.

She further said Mollywood actors tend to surprise you as most of them have an "edge" in acting. "You will think that Fahadh Faasil will do this, but he won’t do that. That way, most Malayalam actors have that edge in acting. That’s very inspiring and I look up to them in that way," she said.

Written and directed by Gunasekhar, Shaakuntalam is based on the Abhignyana Shakuntalam by Kalidasa. The movie features Samantha as Shakuntala and Mohan as Dushyanta. It is scheduled to hit screens on April 14.
