The list of global fans of SS Rajamouli's RRR keeps growing. A few days after Rajamouli shared about his fanboy moment with Hollywood filmmaker Steven Spielberg, he is on 'top of the world' again as he received praises from yet another legendary filmmaker—James Cameron.

Rajamouli, who met Cameron and his wife at the 28th Critic Choice Awards, shared photographs and a note on social media describing Avatar filmmaker's reaction to RRR. He wrote: "The great James Cameron watched RRR... He liked it so much that he recommended to his wife Suzy and watched it again with her. Sir I still cannot believe you spent a whole 10 minutes with us analyzing our movie. As you said I AM ON TOP OF THE WORLD... Thank you both."

Rajamouli is currently in the US as part of the awards campaign for his magnum opus RRR. The Telugu period drama continued its winning streak in the award circuits on Monday as it bagged two awards at the 28th edition of the Critics Choice Awards—Best Film and Best Song for Naatu Naatu. Last week, compose MM Keeravani won the Golden Globe for Best Original song for 'Naatu Naatu' in RRR.

RRR is also in the race for Best Song at the upcoming Academy Awards, and is expected to clock in more nominations when the final list is announced on January 24. Starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR in the lead, RRR follows a pre-Independence fictional story woven around two real-life Indian revolutionaries - Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem - in the 1920s. It also stars Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn in key roles.
