Social media sensation and Bollywood actor Uorfi Javed, known for her provocative sense of fashion, was reportedly detained in UAE while on vacation there.
According to media reports, the Bigg Boss OTT contestant was detained for shooting a video in public, wearing revealing outfits.
"She had shot a video for her Instagram in an outfit made by her, which was revealing as per the people here in Dubai," a source has been quoted as saying by ETimes.
According to the source, the outfit was in fact not the problem but where she wore it was. "The fact that there is no problem with the outfit but where she shot the video was an open area and they don't consider it to be allowed to wear what she wore. She is being questioned by the police," the source said.
While her team has refused to comment on the issue, media reports say her return to India may be delayed because of detention.
