Putting an end to speculations, Shah Rukh Khan on Friday, officially announced his new film with director Atlee. The action thriller titled Jawan will be released on June 2, 2023.
Along with the announcement, Shah Rukh Khan shared a teaser video of the film. In the video, the actor's face is covered in bandages. He looks through boxes of ammunition as a message is heard on the radio. In a disturbing voice, Shah Rukh's character laughs and says 'Ready, and the teaser ends. The teaser reveals that the film will release in multiple languages.
Sharing the news, Atlee tweeted: “Feeling emotional, excited & blessed. Grew up admiring you but never imagined that I would be directing you sir.”
It was reported earlier that this film will also mark Nayanthara's Bollywood debut.
“An action-packed 2023! Bringing #Jawan to you, an explosive entertainer in cinemas 2nd June 2023. In Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada,” Shah Rukh tweeted.
