The release date of Laal Singh Chaddha, starring Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead, has been pushed to August 11. The film was earlier scheduled to release on April 14.
The makers of the movie said the release date has been postponed as they are unable to complete the movie on time.
"The film will now be releasing on August 11, 2o22 in theatres worldwide," a press release from the makers of the movie read.
Laal Singh Chadha, the official remake of Tom Hanks' Hollywood blockbuster Forrest Gump is backed by Aamir Khan Productions, Viacom18 Studios and Paramount Pictures.
They also thanked the makers of Adipurush for changing the release date of the movie so that Laal Singh Chaddha can be released on August 11.
