Controversial actor Kamaal R. Khan sought to know why Indian are Muslims, who always protest to support Palestinian people during the Israel- Palestine conflict, silent on Taliban atrocities.

The actor, who has been tweeting about the developments in Afghanistan, wrote: "Indian Muslims always protest to support Palestinian people, whenever Israel & Palestine conflict happens. So now why they are not protesting against #Taliban who are killing Muslims in #Afghanistan? Means everything happens in this world for politics, not brotherhood."

In another tweet, Khan asked, "#Taliban call themselves TheKedaar of Muslims. If it’s true, then why people are scared of them and running away from #Afghanistan. It’s proof that hardcore TheKedaar of any religion are not good for society."

The Taliban swept into Kabul on Sunday after President Ashraf Ghani fled the country, ending a two-decade campaign in which the US and its allies had tried to transform Afghanistan.

The country's Western-trained security forces collapsed or fled in the face of an insurgent offensive that tore through the country in just over a week, ahead of the planned withdrawal of the last US troops at the end of the month.
