The family behind the viral YouTube hit, ‘Charlie Bit My Finger’, has sold the original video as a non-fungible token (NFT) for over $760,000. The 56-second clip was first uploaded in 2007 and has become one of the platforms most viewed videos ever.

According to reports, with the auction closed, the video will soon be deleted from YouTube. An intense bidding war between anonymous accounts sent the price skyrocketing in the auction's final hours, the CNN reported.

The video features two adorable brothers, three-year-old Harry and one-year-old Charlie. The two boys are sitting on a couch, when Harry puts his finger into Charlie’s mouth and ends up getting bitten. The video concludes with Harry screaming: “Ow, Charlie! Ow! Charlie! That really hurt!", and Charlie giggling. The video, which is still available for viewing on YouTube, has over 882 million views.

The family became so famous that they put out another video of the boys to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the iconic clip.

On the website, the family wrote that the winner of the auction will get to film their own version of the parody with Harry and Charlie.
