Kanye West has agreed to joint custody of his and Kim Kardashian's four young children, according to reports. Kanye’s response to the divorce petition was virtually identical to Kim’s original petition, agreeing that the marriage should end over irreconcilable differences, and that the two should share custody of their children: seven-year-old North , five-year-old Saint, three-year-old Chicago, and Psalm, who turns two next month.

In both their filings, they have agreed that they do not need spousal support. 43-year-old rapper Kanye and 40-year-old reality show star and entrepreneur Kim have been one of the most followed celebrity couples.

In February this year, Kim filed papers to divorce her husband after almost seven years of marriage.

Things have not been very smooth after Kanye declared he was running for the White House last year and later went on a rant on Twitter about Kim and her mother. After his explosive tweets, Kim had opened up about her husband bipolar disorder and called for the public to show ‘compassion and empathy’. In the tweets which were deleted later, he went on a rant about him seeking a divorce from Kim, whom he termed ‘white supremacist’. In successive rants, Kanye alleged that Kim was trying to have him "locked up".
