Putting an end to speculations, actor R. Madhavan has confirmed that he won't be playing industrialist Ratan Tata in a biopic.
Responding to a query of a fan if he is playing the lead role in a biopic on Ratan Tata, Madhavan said, "Hey unfortunately it’s not true. It was just a wish at some fans will made the poster. No such project is even on the pipeline or being discussed." (sic)
Recently, there were rumours about a Ratan Tata biopic, to be directed by Sudha Kongara of Soorarai Pottru fame.
Madhavan was last seen in multilingual film Nishabdam, which released on Amazon Prime Video. The film also featured Anushka Shetty and Shalini Pandey.
He is also working on the biopic of former ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan. Madhavan will play the lead role in the film titled Rocketry - The Nambi Effect.
