Vijay teams up with 'Kolamavu Kokila' director Nelson Dilipkumar for his next 'Thalapathy 65'

Kollywood actor 'Thalapathy' Vijay will team up with Kolamavu Kokila director Nelson Dilipkumar for his 65th movie.

Tentatively titled 'Thalapathy 65', the movie will be produced by Sun Pictures. This is the actor's second collaboration with the production house after the 2018 political thriller Sarkar.

Sun Pictures took to Twitter to announce the movie. "We are happy to announce Thalapathy @actorvijay’s #Thalapathy65bySunPictures directed by @nelsondilpkumar and music by @anirudhofficial #Thalapathy65," the production house tweeted.

In a video that accompanied the tweet, Vijay is seen meeting the director.

Dilipkumar too shared the video, which also features Kalanithi Maran, with the tweet: "Happy to announce my next film with @actorvijay sir."

While the director and the production house haven't announced any more details about the movie or its genre, there are indications that the film will be an out-and-out entertainer.

Vijay is awaiting the release of Master, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj of Kaithi fame. Touted to be an action thriller, Master also features Vijay Sethupathi, Malavika Mohanan and Andrea Jeremiah in the lead.
