Actors Varun Dhawan and Neetu Kapoor have tested positive for the novel coronavirus, according to reports. They were shooting for Bollywood film Jug Jugg Jeeyo. Director Raj Mehta has also tested positive, according to a report by Filmfare stated.
The actors have not released any official statements. Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Neetu Singh had started shooting for the film last month. Neetu Kapoor had shared a post on Instagram about getting back to acting after a hiatus, and hoe she missed her husband and actor Rishi Kapoor who passed away earlier this year.
She had shared a picture before shooting from the film. Neetu Kapoor wrote, "My first flight, in these scary times !! Nervousss for this journey !! While Kapoor Sahab, you aren’t here holding my hand, I know you are with me .. #RnR thank you for encouraging me to do this..#jugjuggjeeyo P.S. - We are all Covid tested and safe, hence removed mask while taking picture."
