Prakash Raj joins set of ‘KGF: Chapter 2’, shares photos

Actor Prakash Raj on Wednesday started shooting for KGF: Chapter 2.

The actor took to Twitter to share pictures from the film’s sets, where he is seen speaking to director Prashant Neel.

“Start Camera..Action... BACK TO WORK..,” the actor captioned the picture.

Prakash Raj was not a part of the first KGF, which came out in 2018. The team has not divulged anything about his role yet.

Director Prashant also shared pictures, and welcomed Prakash Raj onboard. He tweeted: “Welcome on board @prakashraaj sir. We resume shoot finally for #KGFCHAPTER2 Thank you everyone for all the love and excitement towards the movie. Wish us all the luck."

The film’s production had come to a halt due to the coronavirus pandemic and the lockdown. According to reports, there are about 24 days of shoot remaining. But the production will be delayed further as the team will wait for Sanjay Dutt’s availability. Dutt, who essays the antagonist Adheera in the film, is away for treatment after he was diagnosed with cancer recently.

The film’s producer Karthik Gowda recently told the Times of India that Dutt had three shoot days-worth of work left in the film.
