Bollywood actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter Aaradhya have tested positive for COVID-19, a day after her husband Abhishek Bachchan and father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan had tested positive for the coronavirus, as per reports.
The tests results for Aishwarya and Aaradhya returned positive hours after reports said that the mother and daughter had tested negative for the virus having taken the rapid antigen detection test.
Other members of the family, including Jaya Bachchan, Shweta Nanda, Agastya Nanda and Navya Naveli Nanda have tested negative, reports said.
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan and his Abhishek were admitted to the Nanavati hospital in Mumbai after showing mild symptoms for COVID-19. They are said to be in a stable condition now and are under observation.
Both father and son had tweeted that they had tested positive for COVID-19 and requested everyone who came in contact with the past few days to get tested.
