It was 15 years ago that Hollywood star Leonardo DiCaprio brought a date to the Oscars. At the 2005 Academy Awards, the actor had appeared with Gisele Bundchen.
At the 2020 Oscars, the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star made public his relationship with 22-year-old Camila Morrone, a model and actor. The two have been reportedly going out for two years, but hadn't made a public appearance together.
The couple did not arrive together at the Academy Awards, neither did they pose for photos together. But they were seated next to each other and were seen chatting animatedly.

The two have been keeping their relationship public, but the Academy Awards this time was important as DiCaprio was nominated for the best actor award for his performance as Rick Dalton in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
“There’s so many relationships in Hollywood — and in the history of the world — where people have large age gaps. I just think anyone should be able to date who they want to date,” Morrone had defended their 23-year age gap while speaking Los Angeles Times. DiCaprio is 45 years old.
Morrone had also reportedly slammed those who expressed reservations about the age gap. “I just read some of the comments on my Instagram,” she had stated once, adding, “And, my God, people are so mean and full of anger with people they know nothing about. I guess I just hope on this Friday that people learn to live with a little less hatred and place their time and interest elsewhere because living without hatred feels pretty good.”
