‘I Don’t Care’, Ed Sheeran’s new single featuring Justin Bieber is set to release on Friday. The artists released a preview of their track on Wednesday, just a day after the announcement of their collaboration. In the preview that came out on a UK radio station, Sheeran can be heard singing the chorus while JB provides the background vocals.

“My track with @justinbieber ‘I Don’t Care’ comes out this Friday at 5am bst, pre-add/pre-save link in bio x (sic),” Sheeran announced on Instagram on Tuesday.

Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber are collaborating after four years of ‘Love Yourself’. The music video, which has over 1.4 billion views today, was an instant hit. It topped US Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Singles Chart.

Very little details are known about the upcoming single. Since Ed Sheeran was the first to announce about the collaboration fans think ‘I Don’t Care’ is Sheeran’s handiwork. A day prior to the announcement of the song release Sheeran posted what appears to be the lyrics of the forthcoming song on his Instagram account.

Speculation about the new song started with the two artists sharing photos together on their social media accounts. Sheeran shared a photo of Bieber hand him in floral print shirts holding hands and standing in front of a green screen. The post was a combination of two separate pictures together. The post was captioned ‘Photoshop spoon.’

For Justin Bieber, who has stayed away from the music scene for quite some time, ‘I Don’t Care’ is a comeback. “He hasn’t performed in a long time. He was very excited though and felt even better after. He loved reconnecting with his fans,” Bieber’s friend told People.
