James Charles—the boy who rose to fame after being CoverGirl’s first ever cover boy in 2016—has been owning the beauty industry for the past couple of years. The YouTuber and influencer recently announced a Sisters Tour across various cities in the US and fans are going berserk.
James Charles is one the most successful beauty gurus on YouTube with over 16 million subscribers. The nation’s favourite ‘Sister’ has announced in one of his recent videos that he is planning to go on tour across the United States. Shows will be held on 24 dates across 24 cities.
The show will be produced by Right Angle Entertainment comprising make-up live on stage, games with the audience, Q&As, music and “a whole lot of instagram selfies”. There are four different ticket packages to choose from, from General Admission (GA) all the way to an extremely limited, exclusive, Sister VIPs.
Tickets have been on sale since April 26. Fans, however, have raised complaints about the ticket prices being too high. He responded to the issue with a tweet announcing renewed ticket prices.
The Meet and Greet which originally started at $250 has been lowered to $99 and the General Admissions which was over $62 has been lowered to $52.50. The Sisters VIP tickets still remain at an astounding price of $500. While some fans are happy with the change in prices, most still feel that the expensive pricing of Sisters VIP tickets to be unfair.
“I am sorry that we disappointed many of you,” he wrote on Twitter. “We have worked very hard to put this tour together and want it to be accessible for everyone and an amazing experience no matter the ticket. To clarify, I begged my team to change prices, but because of contracts with the venues, it was not possible. Instead, I made sure meet-and-greet was more accessible, and ensured that the highest ticket was worth the price.”

The Sisters VIP package includes a pre-show Meet and Greet as well as a gift bag full of costly makeup items. Charles later added new benefits to each tier to please fans. He announced that he will be holding ticket giveaways on social media in the coming weeks.
He has also added more benefits to the top tiers.
