Even as Lucifer rage continues in Kerala, Mammootty fans have a few more days to have their day in theatres as Madhura Raja will be released only on April 12.
However, the fans were treated with another glance of the mannerisms and actions of their favourite hero as the trailer of Madhura Raja was released on Friday. As expected, the trailer promises a fun ride with plenty of punch dialogues, action and drama. According to the trailer, Mammootty who plays Raja in the movie comes as the saviour to a village where Jagapathi Babu and his henchman are having a field day. We also get introduced to the character of Tamil actor Jai who says he is like a brother to Mammootty's character. There is also a glance of Sunny Leone who will have an item number in the movie.
Directed Vysakh and written by Uday Krishna, the movie is is a sequel to their 2010 film Pokkiri Raja which had Mammootty, Prithviraj and Shriya Saran in the lead. While Prithviraj, who played Mammootty's younger brother in Pokkiri Raja, will not make a return in Madhura Raja, the movie boasts of an impressive star cast, including Siddique, Anna Reshma Rajan, Salim Kumar, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Jagapathi Babu and Nedumudi Venu. Besides, Bollywood star Sunny Leone will appear for an item number in the movie. Tamil actor Jai too has an important role in the movie.
A teaser of the movie was released earlier which had Mammootty making a grand entry, beating up baddies and delivering a few punch dialogues.
