Malayalam film Athiran, starring Fahadh Faasil and Sai Pallavi, will also be released in Tamil and Telugu, makers have confirmed. Directed by debutant Vivek and written by P.F. Mathews, the film is expected to be a Vishu release.
Athiran is touted to be a psychological thriller set in a hospital in Ooty. The makers said they were releasing the film in Tamil and Telugu taking into account the actors' fan following in both film industries. Fahadh, who made his Kollywood debut with Velaikkaran, was also seen in the recent release, Super Deluxe. Sai Pallavi who is still trending for her dance moves in the song Rowdy Baby, opposite Dhanush, will be seen in Diya and Maari 2.
