According to media reports, Hansika Motwani said she was embarrassed by the photo leak, but was more hurt by the comments that followed. She said there are some people who said what is the big deal in the leak as the actor has done bikini shoots in the past.
"It is a big deal," she was quoted as saying. Hansika Motwani noted that some of the photos, which were in fact taken four years ago, were morphed. She said when she does a bikini photo shoot for a magazine or film, she is doing it by choice. However, in the case of photo leak, it happened without her consent and that is the difference between the two, she pointed out, adding that the photo leak was a clear violation of her privacy.
She also thanked her fans and supporters who came up with the hashtag #IStandByHansika. The actor said she is not looking to seek attention from anyone.
Hansika Motwani told the Times of India that she realized that her phone was hacked when she was in the US, but the news that the photos were leaked on social media came as a huge shock to her.
