Rishi Kapoor and family including Alia Bhat, brought in the new year in New Year. Rishi and Neetu Kapoor's daughter Riddhima posted a few pictures online, so did her mom Neetu. But a cryptic line in one of her Instagram post hints that the  actor may have gone to New York to get treated for cancer.

Caption for the said picture read: “Happy 2019! no resolutions only wishes this year !!! Less pollution traffic!! Hope in future cancer is only a zodiac sign !!! No hatred less poverty loads of love togetherness happiness n most imp. Good health.”

The specific line in the post — ‘Hope in future cancer is only a zodiac sign’ has the internet buzzing if the actor is suffering from this vicious disease. In fact, there is also a possibility that Rishi might have got cured and is in post recovery phase. Whatever the situation may be, fans of the veteran actor are worried about his state.

News of Rishi Kapoor getting treated in New York for some kind of ailment has been doing rounds in the web for months. And the entire Kapoor family has been tight-lipped about what the actor is getting treated for in the US.

In the past the family has rubbished reports of Rishi Kapoor getting treated for cancer, however, this time around it is relatively more clear that the news could actually be true.

Rishi also looks a lot weaker and exhausted than his usual self. Last seen in Mulk (2018), the actor has been in the US getting treated for his ailment post the release of his film. All we can do is pray for him that he gets well soon, irrespective of whatever he is getting treated for.
