Malayalam actress Parvathy Thiruvoth escaped unhurt after her car collided with another on the National Highway near Kommady in Kerala's Alappuzha district on Tuesday. None sustained injuries in the accident, reports said.
On the work front, Parvathy had received a special jury mention at the National Awards for her performance in Take Off. However, the actress and a few other artistes, including actor Fahadh Faasil, had stayed away from the award function after it was announced that only a few would receive the honour from President Ram Nath Kovind. The boycott by 60-odd artistes had triggered a controversy.
