Sridevi bagged the award for best actress (Mom), and Bengali actor Riddhi Sen was declared best actor (Nagarkirtan) at the 65th National Film Awards announced on Friday.
Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil bagged the award for Best Male Supporting Actor for Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum. Divya Dutta bagged the award for Best Female Supporting Actor for Irada. Assamese film Village Rockstars bagged the award for best film. Best Director Award goes to Jayaraj for Malayalam film Bhayanakam. Best Film on Social Issues for Malayalam film 'Aalorukkam'
The jury was headed by r enowned filmmaker Shekhar Kapur. The 10-member panel comprises screenwriter Imtiaz Hussain, lyricist Mehboob, actress Gautami Tadimalla and Kannada director P. Sheshadri among others.
