Adani Green Energy saw its total revenue shrink to ₹6,604 crore for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2026, down from ₹6,775 crore a year ago.
However, the sustainable energy arm of the Adani conglomerate saw its revenue from power supply alone jump 16 per cent to ₹3,094 crore for the three-month window, after adding 5.1GW capacity through the fiscal year.
Total net profit was just ₹12 crore for the quarter, down from ₹81 crore a year ago. For the full year, it stood at ₹604 crore, down from last year’s ₹714 crore.
Total liabilities at the end of the fiscal year ballooned to ₹37,065 crore from last year-end’s ₹33,655 crore.
However, the shift in power supply-based income seemed to have become the silver lining for Adani Green Energy, which led to its stock gaining more than 2.5 per cent.
Before the earnings announcement, the shares were in the red, dipping massively over the course of the week. Not only did the AGEL stock gain ground and hit a new 52-week high, but it also recovered the lost market cap from this week’s bloodbath in the Indian stock markets.
