Nissan has finally revealed the name of its latest C-SUV that will rival Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos. The new C-SUV is named Tekton and is placed above the Magnite in Nissan line-up.

What does Tekton mean?

Japanese carmaker Nissan has choses a Greek word for their new C-SUV. Tekton is the Greek word for craftsman or architect and is intended to highlight the new SUV's precision engineering and performance.

When will Nissan Tekton SUV be launched?

Nissan Tekton will be rolled out in India from the Chennai plant of Renault-Nissan Alliance. It is expected to be launched in the second quarter of FY26.

How much will Nissan Tekton SUV?

Nissan Tekton SUV is expected to start with a price tag of Rs 10.5 lakh onwards, reported CarDekho.

Specifications of Nissan Tekton

Nissan Tekton exterior is inspired by the larger Patrol SUV while its dashboard comes with a three-tone theme, according to Auto Car India. It will have connected LED DRLs, C-shaped LED headlights and C-shaped connected LED tail-lights similar to Patrol SUV.

CarDekho speculates that Tekton will come with a panoramic sunroof, auto AC, large touchscreen and digital cluster. It is also expected to have multiple airbags, a 360-degree camera and level 2 ADAS.
