After a gap of two years, Apple has unveiled its new iPad lineup along with upgraded accessories and updated creative suite.
The new iPads are armed with the powerful M4 chip and will flaunt bigger screens. Take a look at the much-awaited features in the new tablets:
Powerful M4 chip
The M4 chip, which has a 10-core CPU and a 10-core GPU, is touted to be 50 per cent faster and has up to four-fold graphic performance compared to the M2 chip. It is built using the second-gen 3nm technology and supports ray tracing and dynamic caching.
Pencil Pro with haptic feedback
The new Apple Pencil Pro is coming with a haptic engine that gives a force feedback. It also supports a new "squeeze" gesture, which can help the user open up a tool palette. The user can locate the new Pencil Pro with Apple's "Find My" feature.
Macbook-like Magic Keyboard
The Magic Keyboard also gets an upgrade with an aluminium base that gives it a Macbook-like feel. With a floating design, it also features a bigger trackpad with haptic feedback.
Vibrant OLED display
The new iPad Pro comes with tandem OLED displays with 1,000 nits HDR and 1,600 nits peak brightness. On the other hand, the new iPad Air comes with a liquid retina IPS display.
What's the cost of the new iPad variants and accessories?
The 11-inch iPad Pro starts with a price tag of Rs 99,000 while the 13-inch iPad Pro has the base price of Rs 1,29,000.
In the case of iPad Air, the 11-inch variant costs Rs 59,000 while the 13-inch model begins with a price tag of Rs 79,000.
The 11-inch Magic Keyboard is priced at Rs 29,900 while the 13-inch version is priced at Rs 33,900. The new Apple Pencil Pro costs Rs 11,900.
The base 10.9-inch iPad model, which was priced at Rs 44,900 in 2023, can now be bought for just Rs 34,900.
