With Flipkart's Big Billion Days and Amazon's Great Indian Festival clashing with each other once again, all eyes are on the best deals offered by both the e-commerce platforms. Both sales will begin on October 8, with Flipkart Plus and Amazon Prime users getting early access from October 7 midnight.
Offers on credit and debit cards
If you are buying from Flipkart, having bank cards of ICICI Bank, Axis Bank or Kotak Bank will get you a 10 per cent instant discount during the Big Billion Days sale.
For Amazon customers, a 10 per cent discount was be availed using SBI debit and credit cards during the Great Indian Festival.
Exchange offers
Both Flipkart and Amazon allows you to buy smartphones and other electronics products at a lower rate by exchanging older devices.
Supercoins
Flipkart allows its customers to trade in their "Supercoins" to lower the price while purchasing the next time. Amazon, which had come up with an option to redeem diamonds for cashback rewards, did not introduce the offer this time.
Amazon pre-booking
Amazon allows its customers to pre-book products they want to buy during the sale. This will enable guaranteed availability of the product during the ‘redemption window’.

Flipkart flight booking
Flipkart has offered several discounts on flight booking. Domestic flights starting at Rs 1,499 and international flights starting at Rs 4,999 can be booked using code FLYFK. FLYFK code can get you Akasa Air (1,299), Air Asia (Rs 1,399), IndiGo (Rs 1,499) and Vistara (Rs 1,699), Domestic flights starting at Rs 1,299 can also be booked using code FKDOM.
Axis, ICICI, Kotak and Citi Bank cards can get you 18 per cent off on flights. Amazon doesn't have similar offers.
Amazon coupons, samples and combos
Amazon coupons helps customers save 20 per cent on more than 20 lakh products.
Sample Mania allows Amazon users to buy sample starting at Rs 1. All you have to do is add product to cart, clip the coupon at checkout, grab sample product and share feedback.
For Crazy Combo offers, Amazon customers can avail up to 30 per cent discount.
Buy more, save more allows users to buy two products and save extra 10 per cent on purchase.
