Infosys recognised as one of the world’s most ethical companies for third time in a row

Testament to strong foundation of ethical business practices, says company

Ethisphere, a for-profit company that defines and measures corporate ethical standards, recognises companies that excel, and promotes best practices in corporate ethics, recognised Infosys as one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies in 2023. This is the third time in a row that India’s second-largest IT company gets the recognition.

The company has been recognised as one of the most ethical companies for "demonstrating the high standards of business integrity through best-in-class ethics, compliance, and governance practices," Infosys said in a statement.

Infosys is the only company in India, and one of the four companies in the world, in the software and services industry to receive this recognition. The company has been recognised from among 35 honorees from 19 countries and 46 industries.

The companies have been evaluated across multiple categories, including culture, environmental and social practices, ethics and compliance, governance, diversity, and initiatives to support a strong value chain.

“We are honoured to be part of the 2023 World’s Most Ethical Companies community. This recognition is a testament to the strong foundation of ethical business practices and accountability that we continue to build on. As a responsible corporate entity, we are fully committed to nurturing excellence and transparency of operations and outcomes for the businesses that we drive," CEO and managing director of the company Salil Parekh said in a statement.
