In a meet of Industry Leaders of global companies during WEF held at Doha, the discussion was focused on changing business paradigms in view of technology revolution and what kind of skill sets would be required by businesses due to this. Apart from other factors, one of the most important issue emerged was the Reskilling and Upskilling of existing workforce would be very crucial for survival of them. To cope up with existing changes taking place in business functions would require different kind of skill set and upgrade. Not only this, even NASSCOM Report endorses the same and says that in next 4 years, approximately 40% of existing workforce would be required to be retrained and reskilled otherwise their jobs may be on stake.
In this VUCA world, professional education and teaching-learning pedagogy is now becoming very important to make learning more relevant.
