Kia Seltos, the much awaited entrant in the growing league of connected SUVs, has finally launched in India. The Seltos, which is the Korean company’s first offering in India, has been unveiled at an introductory price starting Rs 9.69 lakh ex-showroom.
The price goes up to Rs 15.99 lakh for the top end HTX+ and GTX+ variants.
So far, there have been 32,035 bookings for the Kia Seltos, with one out of every five booking made online.
The Kia plant in India has a production capacity of 3 lakh units per year, the company stated during the launch. "There are no plans to halt bookings inspite of the huge response. We are ready for quick deliveries," Kia India sales head said during the launch.
