Prime Minister Narendra Modi has inspired quite a few fashion trends. The biggest hit would have been the Modi kurta-jacket combo which trended last year and was a hot selling outfit at the Khadi India outlets. The latest trend, however, is even more hip—NaMo Again hoodies.

The black hoodie, with bright orange lettering, is becoming a social media star after BJP chief whip in Lok Sabha Anurag Thakur tweeted a picture of himself in one, and urged others to do so. BJP leader Babul Supriyo and Union ministers Piyush Goyal, Rajyavardhan Rathore and Kiren Rijiju also posted a picture of them in the hoodie. "NaMo Again. Because leadership matters. Because India matters. Stand up for what you know is right. Get your NaMo merchandise today from," said Union Minister Rajyavardhan Rathore in his tweet as he shared pictures of the leaders attending BJP's National Convention at Ramleela maidan.

Adding to the excitement, Modi was quick to acknowledge the political fashion sense of his young ministers. “Looking good,” he tweeted in response.

The hoodies are being sold by NaMo Merchandise which has been selling merchandise since September last year. From Modi jackets, t-shirts, notebooks to pens and mugs, NaMo Merchandise on the NaMo app has it all. According to a report by the Economic Times, merchandise worth more than Rs 5 crore have been sold in about three months. The sale of hoodies, too, seems to have taken off after Anurag Thakur called for the hoodie challenge.
