In addition, he has also made a name in his career as a police sergeant in the New York City Police Department (NYPD) with over 10 years of experience. Prof. Bhowmik's journey toward pursuing his academic & professional goals commenced at an early age when he immigrated with his family to the United States from Bangladesh at just 16 years old, where he completed high school and a two-year college degree in science, a source close to the family said. Driven by ambition & New York's promising opportunities, he resumed his educational journey in the United States. His academic drive is unparalleled because he has differentiated himself in 4 different fields with 4 different Doctorates.
Among his ten degrees, Dr. Bhowmik has a Master's in National Security and Homeland Security, a Master's in Science in Curriculum and Instructional Technology, a Master's in Science in Psychology, and a Master's in Science in Criminal Justice. He has also earned a Ph.D. in Forensic Psychology, Doctorate in Education (EdD) in Leadership, Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA), and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PsyD).
