The Joint Entrance Examination (Main) or JEE Main 2025 results for session 2 can be expected to be released by April 17, as per the official information bulletin. Candidates who have appeared for the examination will be able to view the results when declared on jeemain.nta.nic.in, the official website.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the provisional answer keys on April 11 for candidates to verify and submit challenges if any. Following the release of the provisional answer key, concerns started to flow regarding the discrepancies in the answer key, to which the NTA responded.
“NTA has always followed a transparent examination process, which allows candidates to view their recorded responses as soon as the provisional answer keys are released. The NTA considers every challenge to the provisional Answer Key with utmost seriousness,” mentions the NTA in a post on X (formerly Twitter).

The agency also mentioned that drawing conclusions based on the provisional answer keys is not desirable and advised candidates to not be misled by reports that create unnecessary doubt and anxiety. The final answer key is not published by the agency yet and the result is based on the final JEE Main Session II answer key.
As per TOI, students pointed out errors in the examination held on April 9 and requested either the removal of these questions from the evaluation or the awarding of bonus marks to ensure fairness.
NTA conducted the JEE Main Session 2 on April 2, 3, 4, 7 and 8 for Paper I and on April 9 for Paper II at 531 centres located in 285 cities across the country and 15 cities outside India.
