A high school teacher in the US state of Wisconsin is facing charges of sexual assault, following an alleged sexual relationship with her minor student, reports said.

According to court documents cited by it, 38-year-old Sara Domres allegedly had sexual relationship with a 16-year-old boy in her English class for over a year.

During the period, they had sex up to 15 times, while she planned for her wedding, reports said. On one occasion, reports had investigators saying that they went to a motel and had sex on the night of her then fiance's bachelor party.

During their relationship, lasting between April 2015 and January 2016, the duo reportedly exchanged over 1,100 messages. One of the many text messages said, "I love being your baby boo. (heart emoji) run away with me!!! I want you forever,” according to a report.

Also, she has allegedly sent the boy a selfie while she and her husband were on their honeymoon. Most of the trysts between Domres and the teen reportedly took place in her car at a Park 'n Ride lot.

Despite these allegation, Domres' husband stood by her side in the court, where she pleaded not guilty. She faces up to 12 years in prison and a $20,000 fine if convicted.

Domres was fired from her job and arrested when one of the boy's concerned friends reported their relationship to police.

The teen’s friends reported her in January and the School District of New Berlin fired her the same month, according to a criminal complaint cited reports. After her arrest on Friday, Domres pleaded not guilty to two counts of sexual assault of a student, charges that could carry up to six years behind bars.

Her cellphone showed a Google search for “What's the prison sentence for a teacher sleeping with a student?" according to the court records. The investigation showed other texts in which she asked the teen not to tell anyone about them.

“I love you, too, baby and will forever,” she said. “I'm just saying that if you ever don't, please still love me enough as a person to know how much that'd hurt me. You are amazing and mean the world to me. I want to be yours forever.”
