A five-year-old girl died after she accidentally shot herself with a shotgun in the US state of Louisiana on Saturday.
According to media reports, Haley Moore, daughter of Eric Moore, a war veteran who served in Iraq, shot herself while playing with a shotgun.
Eric was in shower when the tragic incident took place. Hearing the gunshot, he rushed out of the shower to discover that his daughter sustained a bullet injury.
Although she was rushed to the hospital, she succumbed to her injuries.
Media reports suggest that the father of the girl could face criminal charges over the death of Haley. He could be booked for negligent homicide which carries a sentence of upto five years in prison.
