Among many stories about Mark Zuckerberg, the one that takes the cherry is about his legendary business card. In 2005, when Facebook was in its initial stages, Bryan Veloso was in charge of designing the Facebook business cards. Once he heard an aggressive Zuckerberg uttering the phrase “I’m CEO, bitch…” and put that on the card. The card soon ran its course and was replaced with a new one, but the 'legacy' lives on. And now, 'Jarvis' will continue Zuckerberg’s legacy.

In the film Iron Man, J.A.R.V.I.S. (Just A Rather Very Intelligent System) is fictional superhero and billionaire Tony Stark’s artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled computer. It is programmed to take care of the activities in his house and help him control his Iron Man suit.

Zuckerberg’s challenge for 2016 was to build a simple AI like J.A.R.V.I.S. to run his home and he spent about 100 hours setting it up. Zuckerberg installed Jarvis at his house on Tuesday.

Jarvis can control his home, including lights, temperature, appliances, music and security. It learns his tastes and patterns, and can learn new words and concepts, and can even entertain his son Max.

Actor Paul Bettany dubbed for J.A.R.V.I.S. in the film. When Zuckerberg started working on Jarvis AI, he used the voice of Arnold 'Terminator' Schwarzenegger, which seemed a bit too ‘aggressive’ according to his wife. Robert Downey Jr, who plays Stark in the film, volunteered to give Jarvis his voice. But, Zuckerberg asked the public for suggestions and his Facebook post received more than 50,000 comments, with ‘God’ emerging the most popular suggestion. And who better than Hollywood legend Morgan Freeman, to give voice to God. Apart from acting as God in two films—Bruce Almighty and Evan Almighty—he has lent his voice for promotional campaigns for US presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and Google’s Waze GPS app.

“Yeah, Sure” was how Freeman responded to Zuckerberg’s request to lend his voice to Jarvis.

Zuckerberg posted videos of Jarvis operating in his house and he seems to be having a whale of a time. Check it out:
