Delhi Bharatiya Janata President (BJP) president Satish Upadhyay on Monday lauded the bravery of the woman who threw ink at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and added that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is much more corrupt than Congress.

Upadhyay also accused the AAP of issuing over one lakh CNG stickers to non-CNG and polluting cars at the cost of Rs. 5000 or more.

“Odd-Even has become a money earning business for them. I laud and thank the woman who came forward and revealed the huge scam behind the Odd-Even formula. Even though throwing ink at someone is wrong, but because of her the people of Delhi got to know the hidden scam behind the formula,” he told ANI.

Upadhyay also accused the AAP of playing the victim card ‘as always’.

“Everyone supported them, including us. But in this also they had a scam. They are used to playing the victim card. And are doing the same again,” he added.

AAP smells conspiracy

Meanwhile, expressing concern over the security of Kejriwal after the ink attack, AAP Core Committee member Sanjay Singh said that the incident has revealed the failure of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Delhi Police.

“This whole incident has revealed the failure of Narendra Modi’s police. If the matter is investigated properly, it will come out there is a conspiracy,” Singh said.

“Would the BJP and the Delhi Police have made same excuses if the chief minister was attacked with acid or a bomb?” he added.

“What I am concerned is the way Narendra Modi-led Government is keeping to its Delhi opposing politics, the way they are making wrong use of its agencies against the Delhi Government; it only suggests that a dangerous attack might take place on Kejriwal,” he further said.

He also said that the Delhi Police can’t be trusted after this incident.

Woman claims she has proof

The woman who threw ink at Kejriwal when he was expressing his gratitude to the people of Delhi for making the Odd-Even formula a success at the Chhatrasal Stadium, accused the AAP Government of being involved in a CNG scam.

“The Odd-Even formula was positive, but behind that was a big CNG Scam, of which I have proofs. That is why I wanted to meet the Chief Minister and Gopal Raiji (Transport Minister), but they didn't agree to meet me,” said the attacker.

She further stated that in the scam, CNG stickers were issued on bike numbers.

“I will go to the court at 10 o’clock today. I will submit all papers before the court. Investigation should be done in the matter,” she added.

The woman also blamed the party volunteers of manhandling her after the attack and thanked the Delhi Police for bringing her into safety.

She was, however, seen being dragged out of the venue by the policemen.
