Box office: Salman's Prem Ratan Dhan Payo shatters all collection records in Bollywood

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's latest outing Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is keeping cash registers ringing at the box office. The film in its fourth week, has shattered previous collection records held by other superstars of the B-Town.

The film has raked in more than Rs 400 cores at the box office worldwide. The production house of the film confirmed the news in a tweet.

“PremRatanDhanPayo crossed the 400 Crore mark - gross worldwide collections! #PRDP400crWorldwide @BeingSalmanKhan,” tweeted Fox Star Hindi.

PRDP has raised the bar in the box office game in Bollywood by collecting over Rs 200 crore in first two weeks of its release.

Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted a break up of latest box office collection of PRDP.

“#PRDP to cross ₹ 400 cr gross worldwide today. India ₹ 207.4 cr till Mon [₹ 305 cr gr] + Oseas $ 14.2 mn [₹ 93.7 cr gr]. Total: ₹ 398.7 cr,” he tweeted.

PRDP, a family entertainer, is directed by Sooraj Barjatya. It also marks his assoiation with Salman after a gap of 16 years. Salman and Sooraj have previously given hits like Maine Pyar Kiya and Hum Saath Saath Hain.
