Sikkim Guv Dushyant Gautam conducts first coordination meeting with state administration

Gangtok, Nov 5 (PTI) Sikkim Governor Dushyant Gautam on Thursday convened his first formal coordination meeting with the state administration.

    The meeting, held at the Lok Bhavan, was attended by Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang, cabinet ministers and senior officials.

    Tamang, in a social media post, said, "Attended the first formal coordination meeting chaired by the Hon'ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Dushyant Gautam Ji, at Lok Bhavan, today following his assumption of office as the Hon'ble Governor."

    The high-level introductory and review meeting provided an opportunity for meaningful interaction and coordination between the governor and the state administration, the chief minister said.

    Cabinet ministers, the chief secretary and other senior officials also participated in the meeting, he said.

    "I look forward to continued cooperation and coordination between Lok Bhavan and the state government in the collective interest of the people of Sikkim and the progress and development of our state," Tamang added.
