Jeh Aerospace signs supply pact with France-based Liebherr-Aerospace

Mumbai, Apr 15 (PTI) US-based aerospace maker Jeh Aerospace on Wednesday said it has signed a long-term agreement with France-based original equipment manufacturer (OEM) Liebherr-Aerospace for precision landing gear components for narrow-body commercial aircraft programmes.
    Under the agreement, Jeh Aerospace will manufacture and supply these components from its Hyderabad facility, the company said.
    The pact was formalised during a visit by senior Liebherr-Aerospace leadership, including Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director at Liebherr-Aerospace & Transportation SAS, Martin Wandel, to Jeh's Hyderabad facility, it said.
    The move would make Jeh becoming part of Liebherr-Aerospace's global industrial network, it said..
     "We have entered into this agreement with Jeh Aerospace and look forward to collaborating with a supplier that has built strong manufacturing capabilities and a clear commitment to operational excellence," said Wandel.
    Landing gear production is among the most demanding disciplines in aerospace manufacturing as components must meet extremely tight dimensional tolerances, pass rigorous qualification standards, and be delivered with no margin for disruption, according to Jeh Aerospace.
     So far, the company said, it has already delivered more than 200,000 flight-critical aerospace components with zero quality escapes.
     "Landing gear is among the most safety-critical systems on any aircraft. Being trusted to manufacture for a program of this caliber is a milestone our team has earned through precision and process discipline. We are committed to performing every day, not just at contract signing," said Vishal R Sanghavi, Founder and CEO, Jeh Aerospace.
